Today Richie and I were joined by Kevin Lynch the owner of Airmid. Airmid is a natural Irish Skin care company based in the Burren Co.Clare. I first visited Kevin back in 2017 in his factory in Waterville, Co.Kerry. Kevin and his family have since moved back to their home in the Burren where they grow their own herbs and make all their natural skin care products by hand in their factory beside their home.

Airmid was born in 2009 after their youngest son Caoimhin suffered with eczema. Tina, Kevin’s wife began to experiment with a chamomile soap for Caoimhin’s skin and eventually completed a professional soap making course. The initial seed was sown.

Airmid sources the purest and most ethical ingredients for their range of natural skin care products.

I was delighted to discover Airmid as I’m a big fan of natural products made of real ingredients. Ingredients include fair trade shea butter, organic argan oil, jojoba oil, essential oils, organic home grown herbs, extra virgin olive oil from El Greco from a Greek supplier and coconut oil and cocoa butter.

Airmid was the Irish Celtic Goddess of Herbs and Healing to the Tuatha De Danann, Ireland's magical ancient tribe. I think they definitely live up to that magical name.

Both Richie and I love the shaving soap. Richie finds it the best shaving soap on the market and is a convert for life. The new Italian shaving brush is vegan, hygienic and stylish.

You only need to use small amounts of their products so they are really long lasting.

Using the soaps you can buy a organic soap saver from their online store to help your soaps last as long as possible. The soap savers and reusable face scrubbies are made from Selkie Crochet in Waterville, Co.Kerry.

The funds that go to Selkie Crochet sponsor two girls through ActionAid Ireland with their profits - one in Vietnam and the other in Kenya. The shampoo containers are recycled pulp that can be planted, the tins are reusable and all packaging comes from sustainable sources. This is a win win for all.

Airmid produce bar soaps, shaving soap and shampoo bars by traditional cold process methods. All bars are cut by hand and are cured for at least 6 weeks before sale to ensure a hard, high quality luxury product that lasts.

What really connects me to Airmid is how big hearted and creative they are. They are willing to invest in proper ingredients for products that suit the most sensitive skin. As a result their margins are low so they don’t have the money to invest in marketing. Which is where I come in.

I’ve partnered with Airmid to bring their beautiful products into your life. This week’s Airmid Special Offer is available until Friday 5th April at Midnight GMT. There’s a 10 % discount and free shipping in Ireland for orders of 60 Euro or more.

Love and healthy products,
