In this week’s episode of the Aisling and Richie Podcast I share a recent interview I did on Reclaim and Master Your Energy Summit. I was interviewed by the host Willemijn Maas on my healing journey and what I’ve learned along the way.

I started out on my healing journey at 23 years old. After experiencing burn out which led to a diagnosis of depression and anxiety I was on antidepressant medication from 19 - 23 years old. During this time I was completely shut down to my own ability to heal but it was a necessary part of my journey which was the catalyst for my path as a Holistic Nutrition Coach and now writer of my first book Moving From Fear to Trust.

Often the most traumatic experiences led you to the greatest transformation. It’s only when things get unbearable do you find the strength to move beyond your current reality. Like a caterpillar leaving its cocoon.

In this interview Willemijn asks me key questions about the life changing events over the past decade that have shaped who I am, including how I got involved in activism with The Girl Against Fluoride campaign.

After hitting a wall fighting against the system in 2014, I was led to take an inward journey which opened me up to my power, strength and courage to accept where I am and to focus all of my energy on creating my vision one step at a time.

The ultimate test came when my Mum got suddenly unwell last February and ended up in an medically induced coma for 12 weeks, eventually passing away on the 10th May. The test was to face my biggest fear and to move from fear to trust by focusing on the highest outcome unfolding.

After many months of practicing moving from fear to trust, I was given the message I needed to hear by Dr Mary Helen Hensley at the Open Minds Conference Ireland last November. After speaking on stage, Mary Helen was the speaker just after me. As she stood on the stage looking down on at me in the audience she shared a message from my Mum that we’d come to the earth to work together and that she’s brought me to the perfect point where it was time for her to exit but she is still working with me from the other side.

I’ve been shown through my biggest initiations that it’s always possible to move from fear to trust. You can heal when you let life support you. Surrender and let go of your attachment to the outcome and free up your energy to heal.

Now I’m excited to guide others through their unique journey of moving from fear to trust and reconnecting with who they really are. It’s an exciting time to be part of the growing moment of women reclaiming their energy and creating a new reality that supports all of life to flourish.

I was so excited to be part of the Reclaim your energy Summit which you can find here: Click this link

The summit was hosted by Willemijn Mass, M.D and Certified Coach of Elemental Life

I’d love to hear from you, let me know what was the number one message you’re taking from this interview? Let me know in the comments below!

What's the alternative to you not following your vision in 2019?

Happy New Year for 2019. We’re back with the first podcast of 2019 after a relaxing 2 week holiday.

Today’s episode asks you the question “What’s the alternative to you not following your vision for 2019?

The main points discussed today:

I was a speaker at the Open Minds Conference last November where I met Mary Helen Hensley who is a Author, Chiropractor and Metaphysical Healer. Mary Helen told me “You need to put your story into a book”

Reducing our phone time is our intention, using social media as a tool instead of a tyrant.

Visited Mary Helen during the holidays and I birthed the beginning of my first book Moving From Fear To Trust that I’m co-authoring with my Mum Martha. I’m deeply grateful to have Mary Helen as my mentor and Book midwife.

Sharing my intentions with you helps me to stay accountable and on track with my project.

Richie shares about his Odyssey Tour in Europe this year.

We’re socially conditioned to fear failure. We attach our identity to failing and it makes us want to give up. Failing is part of the process of learning to master anything. It doesn’t make you a failure. When you fail, fail in the direction you want to go in. Richie’s example of his first attempt at making his album.

Embracing failure is essential when you pursue your goals and vision.

Map out your intentions for the New Year and detach from the outcome of how it has to unfold.

Learn to trust in the timing while having the discipline to stay on your course.

Inspired by a question I heard recently on a Masterclass by Elizabeth Gilbert, I’d like you to ask yourself is “What’s the alternative of you not following your vision?” Please share in the comments below.

3) We are planning to host a Moving from Fear to Trust Retreat next year where we bring people to the Zipit for their moving from fear to trust activity.

4)Are you prepared to go on with the situation you are in as it is?

5) Pick one area of your life to change for the better. Keep it simple.

6) Next week we are discussing pushing out of your comfort zone.

7) Take a non-judgmental assessment of your life and see what areas call to be changed.
