While breastfeeding is always the gold standard for nourishing and protecting our babies there are situations where some mothers are unable to breastfeed or produce enough milk. Often, there are underlying reasons for this, which can be addressed and corrected using Medical Medium information. But in the meantime, a mother may still need an option to ensure her baby receives nourishing, safe food.
The organic formulas on the market contain harmful oils like rapeseed oil and other unsupportive ingredients that are not a replacement for breast milk.
The Spirit of Compassion gave Medical Medium a baby formula recipe that closely resembles a mother’s milk — safe from newborn through toddlerhood. Anthony William first shared it during a live conversation with Kimberly Van Der Beek, and I’m sharing it here so you have an option if breastfeeding is not possible.
Key Ingredients & Benefits
Avocado – Rich in over 25 essential nutrients including iron, magnesium, and essential fatty acids. Did you know that an avocado is one of the closest foods to mother’s breast milk? It has protein, fat and glucose ratios that are equal to breast milk, how incredible.
Barley Grass Juice Powder – A powerhouse of nutrients that boosts immunity, alkalises the body, aids digestion, and supports overall vitality.
Banana – High in water content, electrolytes, and natural glucose, making it excellent for brain, nervous system and muscle development.
Coconut Water – A natural electrolyte source identical to human plasma, providing deep cellular hydration and essential minerals.
Why This Formula Is Special
These ingredients together create a balance of protein, healthy fats, natural sugars, minerals, and hydration — making it the closest match to breast milk that nature offers outside of nursing.
Baby Formula Closest to Mother’s Milk
(Safe for newborns through toddlerhood when breastfeeding is not possible)
Spirit of Compassion gave Medical Medium a baby formula that is closest to resembling mother’s milk.
Equipment
- 1 high-speed blender
- 1 nut milk bag or fine-mesh strainer
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados (peeled and pitted)
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon barley grass juice powder (not barley grass powder — must be juice powder)
- Coconut water or filtered water — enough to thin so it flows easily through a baby bottle nipple
- 1 serving
Instructions
- Add avocado, banana, and barley grass juice powder to a high-speed blender.
- Add coconut water or filtered water until the mixture reaches a thin, pourable consistency suitable for a baby bottle.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Strain through a nut milk bag or fine-mesh strainer to remove any remaining texture.
- Serve immediately.
Tips & Adjustments
- Nearly every mama makes this recipe a little differently for her baby.
- If supplementing while breastfeeding, you may leave out the barley grass juice powder.
- If exclusively using this formula, keep the barley grass juice powder in for important minerals.
- Babies with sluggish livers or skin conditions may need less fat — reduce avocado slightly and increase banana. Avoid going entirely avocado-free, as babies need some fat for healthy development.
- Always use organic ingredients when possible.
Notes
- Best served fresh, but can be prepared the night before and stored in the fridge for night/morning use.
- Do not store longer than 24 hours -48 hours in an airtight mason jar in the fridge.
